Model Pengembangan Kesiapsiagaan Masyarakat Percontohan dan Non-Percontohan Program Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Berbasis Masyarakat (KBBM) Dalam Menghadapi Ancaman Banjir

Abstract

Disaster recovery centers, namely East Java Red Cross, Bojonegoro Red Cross, and Bojonogero Regional Disaster Recovery Center in collaboration with Norwegian Red Cross establish Community-based Disaster Preparedness Program of which goal is to improve community preparedness in coping with flood. In general, the purpose of the study is to develop model of community preparedness in coping with flood from Bengawan Solo river, and particularly to find the influence of knowledge, attitude and risk perception towards community preparedness to cope with threat of flood from Bengawan Solo river, Balen, Bojonegoro. The study is an explanatory survey study. The samples of the study are 81 (eighty-one) heads of family from pilot village and 76 (seventy-six) heads of family from non-pilot village. Random cluster sampling is the sampling method used. Questionnaire is used as data collection method. Statistical analysis is carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS) test using Smart PLS 2.0 software. The findings show that knowledge, attitude and risk perception have significant influence towards model and non-model community preparedness in coping with threat of flood from Bengawan Solo. Structural model in non-pilot and pilot villages has good predictive relevance toward preparedness endogen construct.
