Analisis Kerentanan dan Kapasitas Masyarakat Dalam Menghadapi Bencana Letusan Gunungapi Wilis Sebagai Upaya Pengurangan Risiko Bencana di Kabupaten Ponorogo

Abstract

This study aims to (1) vulnerability, (2) capacity, (3) the risk of Wilis volcanic eruption disaster at Ponorogo. The study is a balanced combination model research of qualitative and quantitative. Sample of the study is society and environment at 13 villages of Ponorogo in Disaster-Prone Areas of Volcanic Eruption. The result of the study show that the vulnerability of communities in encountering Wilis Volcano disaster ranges from low to moderate. The moderate-level vulnerability (1, 861434) is in Jurug Village, Sooko, while the low-level vulnerability (1,449574) is in Kemiri Village, Jenangan. The capacity of communities in encountering Wilis Volcano eruption disaster is low with the vulnerability score of one. The risk of Wilis volcanic eruption disaster ranges from high to moderate with the high-level of risk in five villages of three sub districts.
