Upaya Pengurangan Risiko Bencana Pada Kelompok Rentan

Abstract

Disaster Risk Reduction has become the focus in handling disasters globally. Disaster risk management is focused on preventing new risks and reducing existing risks. Vulnerable groups which are the group with the highest risk of disaster have been seen as only victims who need special care and attention. Risk reduction for vulnerable groups must involve the group itself because through their participation the needs and direction of disaster risk reduction policies are formulated more precisely and according to their needs. Empowerment and participation of vulnerable groups in disaster risk reduction can reduce vulnerability and strengthen community
resilience.
