Kajian Potensi Ancaman Bencana untuk Rencana Pengembangan Kawasan Industri Pertahanan di Kabupaten Tanggamus Provinsi Lampung

Abstract

The defense industry is an industry capable of producing weapon systems, equipment and logistical support as well as various services related to defense interests, as well as being able to produce commercial products in order to support national economic growth. Tanggamus Regency is an area that has a lot of potential for disasters, both those caused by geological and climatic phenomena. This study aims to determine the potential threat of disaster in the defense industrial area development plan in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province. This study uses qualitative methods using qualitative descriptive analysis tools to identify potential disaster threats in the defense industrial estate development plan through analysis of the location of defense industrial areas. The results of the research on the location of the defense industrial area in Tanggamus Regency are suitable for the development of the industrial areas of PT PINDAD and PT PAL, while for PT Dirgantara Indonesia it is not suitable and it is recommended to choose another alternative location. Tanggamus Regency has a potential threat of disaster in the form of floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and landslides.
