Pengaruh Antropogenik Terhadap Banjir Begawan Solo

Abstract

Changes in the river hydrology character is strongly influenced by climate change and anthropogenic. Decrease of rainfall in Java has caused decreasd flow trends. Reduced water catchment area also led to reduced flow. Upstrea river flow pattern Solo River; which changes greatly influenced by changes in the river channel morphology. Before the Wonogiri Dam was built river flow pattern are relatively stable. But after Wonogiri Dam was built, the pattern of decreasing flow trend because the river flow was blocked by the dam cut the orginial river channel meander shaped. The existance of a straight line of the river flow causes flow more quickly and much faster so the flow of the river more dry. These conditions cause the flow panttern of declining trends. Flood control efforts turned out to have caused environmental problems that did not previously exist in the region.
