Tahapan Proses Komunikasi Fasilitator Dalam Sosialisasi Pengurangan Risiko Bencana Studi Kasus terhadap tim COMPRESS LIPI dalam Pelatihan Evakuasi Mandiri bagi Masyarakat Pantai terhadap Bahaya Tsunami (Pra Tsunami)

Abstract

Socialization is a general concept which can be meant as a process where we learn through interaction with others, about the way of think, feel, and act, that all about important things to produce effective social participations. Socialization is a process and always happened during our life. Disaster risk reduction socialization program is one of government programs which is dedicated to society. This research aims to describe communication process which is formed inside Community Preparedness (COMPRESS) LIPI Team. Research problems had been identifed to four steps of communication process on preparation, planning, activities, and evaluation. At the end, this research answered the steps of communication process based on Cutlip and Center, by COMPRESS LIPI Team on The Training of Self-Sufficient Evacuation for Coastal Communities toward Tsunami Hazards (pra tsunami), as one of disaster risk reduction’s way. This research use qualitative method with case study research variant. Research data was collected by observating, interviewing, documentation and library research. Result of this research show that steps of communication process instead of Fact finding, Planning, Communicating, Evaluation.
