Problematika Rehabilitasi dan Rekonstruksi Studi Kasus Pasca Bencana Tsunami Mentawai 2010

Abstract

It has been two years since the tsunami hit Mentawai Islands, the western coast of Sumatera, October 25, 2010. The tsunami killing hundreds, displacing thousands, and destroying villages of affected communities in North Pagai, South Pagai, Sikakap, and South Sipora. Based on The Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Action Plan for Post Tsunami Mentawai 2011-2013, recovery programs was started on 2011 and focus on housing, infrastructure, economy, social, and cross sector programs. But after two years, none of them has been implemented because it is still hampered by land use problem, as these programs are completely intertwined. This paper examines the problems of rehabilitation and reconstruction post tsunami Mentawai 2010.
