Abstract

This research described the slope stability analiysis using geoelectrical method and soil mechanics approach. This research taken from case study of landslide in Legok Kiara, Bandung. Schlumberger coniguration of resistivity geoelectrical method used for indentify slide plane and groundwater level. Slope/W software using for the slope stability analysis with parameter input is ground weight, cohesion, and angle of internal friction which took from soil mechanics testing. Geoelectrical method showed that groundwater level is about 6.4 – 16.8 m. Slide plane is about 3.24 - 6.28 m. the result from slope slope stability analysis showed that the main side of slope classiicated as stable slope with safety factor value is 7.779 while the bottom side of slope classiicated as critical value with safety factor is 1.050. It still has the potential slope landslides in the event of a long and continuous rains that can cause weight gain mass . Besides the river on the cliff slope can also trigger landslides. Type of rock in this area is mostly composed of breccia tuffs that are easily shed when exposed to water so that the adhesion between the soil decreases. Coupled with the long avalanche deposition in this area which at times can move back.
