Pengaruh Intensitas Komunikasi Tim Siaga Bencana, Terpaan Pemberitaan Bencana dan Tingkat Ses Masyarakat Terhadap Perilaku Tanggap Bencana Dalam Program Mitigasi Bencana Tanah Longsor di Banjarnegara

Abstract

The high number of disasters in Indonesia and the many victims of the disaster made the government create an agency in charge of disaster management . The institutions is assisted by BNPB and BPBD . Disaster management program created by BNPB and BPDB, one of which is the establishment of Desa Tangguh Bencana which there Tim Siaga Bencana who served as agents of changes to change people’s behavior to be more aware of the disaster .

This study aims to determine the effect of SES level , the intensity of communication with disaster preparedness team and intensity of disaster reporting toward the response behavior with level of SES as antecedent variables . The theory used is the theory of diffusion of innovation . This research is an explanatory research . The research location is Banjarnegara . Test the hypothesis by using multiple regression with SPSS software . Samples were residents who had attended socialization in Desa Tangguh Bencana which has a Tim Siaga Bencana in Banjarnegara .

After the disaster management program , Banjarnegara society in the preparation stages of changes. With the same variable X affects Y to 27.3 % . The inluence of the intensity of the disaster news that the mass media channels have the most inluence in changing society ‘s behavior amounted to 24.4 % , while communications with disaster preparedness team which is an interpersonal channel has the effect of 12.8 % . The lower the SES , the more intense communicate with disaster preparedness team

Based on the research, the inluence of SES level , the intensity of communication and intensity of information toward the behavior of the disaster response.
