Abstract
The earthquake measuring 7.2 magnitude that occurred in Lemo-Lemo Village, South Halmahera Regency resulted in huge losses for residents due to the destruction of residential buildings and household furniture which were categorized as severely damaged. This analysis aims to determine the impact of losses after the earthquake disaster. Losses are analyzed using theStraight Line Method approach with actual market prices. The results showed that the loss in residential buildings reached Rp.1,241,333,333, after correcting the depreciation value. Since all residential houses are no longer occupied and must be rebuilt, the required budget is Rp. 6,000,000,000 based on current market price estimates, totaling 120 residential houses. Furthermore, the public's loss on household furniture reached Rp. 211,994,000 with a correction of its depreciation value. Because all types of household furniture can no longer be used and are predicted to be repurchased, the cost can reach Rp. 363,060,000. Thus the average loss in descriptive statistics analysis of residential houses is Rp. 10,344,444, and household furniture of Rp. 391,133, experienced by residents of Lemo-Lemo village from the impact of the earthquake.
