Abstract

The coastal areas of Bandar Lampung City have characteristics in where they live, they build houses on land resulting from illegal beach hoarding, as happened in the Kelurahan Kota Karang and Kelurahan Kangkung which we usually call informal areas. Many of the settlers also do not have proof of legal title to what we call informal communities. Such conditions will become a serious problem from the impact of climate change. The other side of the city of Bandar Lampung also has an important and strategic role in meeting the needs of the surrounding area, growing and moving in the trade and service sector which is centered in the coastal areas. This study aims to analyze the resilience of informal areas to the impacts of climate change, considering that the area is directly adjacent to the coastal city of Bandar Lampung, so that it has a high risk of climate change impacts. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire-based interview. The data analysis method consisted of scoring and weighting also qualitatif dectkriptif. According to the results of the analysis, it was found that resilience in informal areas has a low level of resilience (0-40%) with a percentage of 27.82% resilience. The lowest percentage of resilience in the dimensions of coastal resource management is 16.75% with information about less resilience (0-20%). While the highest presentation of resilience in the dimensions of health and well-being was 44.50% with sufficient resilience information (41-60%).
